The Story of Vitty the Helicopter
Once upon a time, in a large hangar filled with the scent of oil and adventure, there lived a little helicopter named Vitty. But Vitty wasn’t an ordinary helicopter. Every time his rotor spun, it sparkled like the sun and went, “Vrrrrrm, vrrrrrm!”
Vitty had a dream. He wanted to see the world from the sky and help anyone in need. One morning, his rotor spun faster than ever before. “Adventure calls!” he buzzed, lifting off above the trees. Below, he could see green forests, golden fields, and rivers shimmering like silver ribbons.
Suddenly, a tiny voice chirped, “Peep, peep!” Vitty tilted his cabin and spotted a little bird that had fallen from its nest. Its mother circled above, calling in distress. “Don’t worry, little one!” Vitty rumbled, gently descending and carefully lifting the chick onto his skids. Up he went again, and hop! The chick was safe back with its mother. “Thank you, Vitty!” sang the joyful bird family.
Vitty continued on his journey when he heard a loud cry: “Buuu, buuu!” On the edge of a meadow, a little boy was crying. “What’s wrong?” asked Vitty. “My baaaalloon… it flew away!” the boy pointed to the sky. Sure enough, a red balloon was drifting in the wind like a tiny kite.
“This is a job for me!” shouted Vitty, spinning his rotor full speed. “Vrrrrrrm!” He chased the balloon, zigzagging between chimneys, soaring over the town, and hop! Found it caught on a tree branch. It had a hole and looked very sad.
Vitty lifted it, returned it to the boy, and with a smile said, “The wind played a bit too rough, but your balloon is safe at home.” The boy’s face lit up as he hugged the balloon tightly. “Thank you, Vitty!”
Vitty returned to the hangar tired but happy. He knew each day could bring a new adventure, and there was nothing better than helping others. “Tomorrow, I’ll fly again!” his rotor buzzed, and Vitty fell asleep contentedly.
