The Story of Anna, Tommy, and the Magic Car
Once upon a time, in a sunny backyard full of flowers and green grass, there was a little playhouse stuffed with toys. Inside lived two best friends, Anna and Tommy. They loved running around, inventing adventures, and most of all playing with a special red toy car they called The Racer.
But there was only one Racer. And one day, both of them wanted it. “I want to drive first!” shouted Anna. “No, you had it yesterday, today it’s my turn!” yelled Tommy. They both grew louder, until suddenly… the toy car spoke. “Don’t you know how to share?” asked the Racer kindly. Anna and Tommy froze in surprise. “We don’t know how!” Anna admitted. “Don’t worry,” said the Racer. “I’ll teach you. Take turns. Set a timer, so you both get a chance.”
So Tommy played with the car for ten minutes while Anna played with her dolls. Then they switched. Soon their friend Crane the toy came to help too, reminding them: “It’s not just about turns. It’s about listening. Everyone has feelings. It’s okay to be upset, but shouting doesn’t help. Instead, use your words.”
From that day on, Anna and Tommy made a new rule: When you want the toy your friend has, ask kindly and wait your turn. And guess what? They had even more fun, because they could both enjoy the Racer without the fight.
Short Version for Little Wigglers
Anna and Tommy were best friends, but sometimes they argued over toys. Especially their favorite red car, the Racer. One day they fought, until Racer spoke: “Why don’t you share?” So they set a rule: ten minutes each, then switch. Soon they learned it’s better to talk about feelings and play together than to fight.
